MSc in Project Management, SKEMA
2024 – 2025 1 year

I enrolled at SKEMA to prepare for a move into project management. What I’ve always liked about this field is that a project manager is the person who helps the project move from an idea to reality: finding resources, bringing the team together, making the goal clear, and supporting the work all the way to the result.

Organizing work and taking responsibility for the outcome have always felt natural to me, so the programme was a good way to build on that. Most of the work was done in multicultural teams, which showed me how differently people can approach the same problem — and how important it is to create clarity when moving toward a shared goal.

As part of the programme, we ran a Project Portfolio aimed at supporting the SKEMA student community. I served as Project Manager on several initiatives within it. One of them was:

Linkedin Photoshoot

It was a professional photo session for SKEMA students. I sourced the photographer, found and confirmed the location, built the sign-up flow, ran marketing, and managed the day itself — including schedule changes on the fly when students ran late.

Around 20 people participated, and a few more joined spontaneously when they saw the event. Around 60% of participants later updated their LinkedIn profile picture with the new photos, which made the event feel like a success.
